China Power Dabieshan Sales Company obtains operation qualification of virtual power plant
On July 20, Hubei Electric Power Trading Center officially announced that China Power Dabieshan Power Sales Co., Ltd. ("Dabieshan Sales") was successfully listed in the catalog of virtual power plants in Hubei Province, and formally obtained the qualification for market-oriented operation of load-side virtual power plants in Hubei, which marked a significant milestone for the company in deepening energy transformation and expanding into new power business areas, and laid a solid foundation for breaking into new avenues of power transformation and achieving high-quality development.
In recent years, Dabieshan Sales has closely tracked trends in the transformation of power industry, proactively planned the layout of new power businesses, and actively explored the paths for diversified energy transformation. Throughout the application process for this qualification, the company strictly adhered to the virtual power plant management regulations of the State and Hubei Province, and various departments coordinated closely and worked efficiently to effectively communicate with the power grid and power trading platform; complete tasks in an orderly manner throughout the process, including communication with customers, data verification, joint system debugging, qualification application, etc.; and refine and improve every detail of the application to ensure compliance and thorough implementation at every stage. Following a 30-day public notice period, the company successfully passed the review and received formal approval.
