Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs Delegation Visits China Power Hainan Waste-to-Energy Project for Inspection and Exchange

On July 9, a delegation comprising H.E. Ms. Kasama Suebwises, Ambassador attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand; Miss Pimduan Nagaviroj, Minister Counsellor at the Reception Division of the Department of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand; and representatives of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou visited China Power's Hainan waste-to-energy project for an inspection.

The Thai delegation toured the exhibition hall, the main control room, and the waste crane control room. During the visit, the delegation gained first-hand insights into the process flow and production operations of municipal solid waste incineration power generation, and received an introduction to the project's experience and practices in construction and operations, equipment maintenance, and environmental management. Particular attention was given to the long-cycle stable operation of equipment and compliance with environmental standards.

The Thai delegation spoke highly of the project's automated waste-to-energy system and its standardized and efficient operations management. The delegation expressed its hope to strengthen exchanges with China Power and jointly advance green and low-carbon development. The two sides also held in-depth discussions on such topics as the operations management, whole-life-cycle risk control, and refined management measures for waste-to-energy projects.

Relevant officials from the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province and principal representatives of China Power's Hainan Company participated in the inspection and exchange activities.
