Eight QC Achievements of China Power Changshu Power Generation Receive Awards from the Jiangsu Provincial Electric Power Industry Association

On July 8, China Power Changshu Power Generation Company received a commendation notice from the Jiangsu Provincial Electric Power Industry Association. All eight quality control (QC) achievements submitted by the company received awards, including three first-prize technical achievements, two second-prize technical achievements, and three third-prize technical achievements. In addition, two QC teams were named "Best Presentation Teams." The total number of awards marked a record high since the company began participating in the program.

The eight award-winning QC achievements span multiple professional areas, including production operation and maintenance, energy consumption optimization, and equipment technical upgrades, and closely address the company's practical needs for safe production, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement. Among the first-prize technical achievements, "Development of a Dust Monitoring Data Acquisition System for the Coal Terminal" enables the real-time collection of environmental data such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, and particulate matter concentration at the coal terminal. It has transformed dust monitoring from "manual inspection and reactive response" to "online monitoring and proactive early warning," effectively improving the continuity and reliability of environmental monitoring data transmission. The technical achievement "Development of a High-Voltage Electric Field Detection Device for Wet Electrostatic Precipitators" addresses on-site challenges including complex internal structures, confined spaces, humid conditions of precipitators, and high risks associated with manual troubleshooting. It introduces an integrated solution featuring "front-end detection, intelligent analysis, and back-end display," improving troubleshooting efficiency while reducing operational risks such as cuts and slips of personnel. The technical achievement "Development of a Multi-Output Test Power Supply Device" uses a modular enclosure design and can supply power to the secondary circuits of 400 V withdrawable switches in offline manner. The commissioning time has been reduced from 50.33 minutes to 8.67 minutes, significantly improving work efficiency and eliminating the risk of electric shock.
