China Power Shanxi Company's Huairen 100 MW Integrated Solar-Storage Project (Phase II) Achieves Full-Capacity Grid Connection

On June 28, China Power Shanxi Company's Huairen 100 MW Integrated Solar-Storage Project (Phase II) achieved full-capacity grid connection, providing new support for optimizing the regional energy mix and advancing green development.

Located in the mountainous area of Huairen City, Shanxi Province, the project covers more than approximately 133 hectares and has a total installed capacity of 100 MW. Its construction set a new company record for the fastest completion of a mountainous photovoltaic project of comparable scale. The project also successfully secured eligibility to participate in the mechanism electricity price bidding process, laying a solid foundation for stable long-term returns. Once operational, it is expected to supply approximately 177 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 53,200 tonnes of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 145,800 tonnes.
