Chaoyang Wind Power Project of China Power Shenyang Sets New Single-Day Record for Power Generation

On February 9, 2026, the Chaoyang wind power project of China Power (Shenyang) Energy Investment Co., Ltd. accurately capitalized on favorable wind conditions, strengthened equipment maintenance, and maximized unit output, achieving a daily power generation of 4,197.5 MWh. This exceeded the previous record of 3,562.1 MWh by 635.4 MWh or 17.84%, setting a new single-day generation record for the project. As of February 10, 2026, the project had achieved 1,000 consecutive days of safe operation.

First synchronized on May 19, 2023 and achieving full-capacity grid connection on December 30, 2023, the project stands as the first wind power project to break ground, synchronize with the grid, and reach full-capacity grid connection among all new energy projects approved in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province in the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan Period.

Over the years, China Power Shenyang has consistently adhered to refined operation and maintenance and intelligent management. Under this guiding principle, the operation team leverages the intelligent monitoring system to conduct 24/7 health diagnosis and preventive maintenance on equipment. Since grid connection, a total of 1,422 defects have been identified and resolved. As a benchmark project under China Power Shenyang's "Evaluate-Diagnose‑Treat" framework, and supported by on-site guidance from China Power, the project has focused on two core objectives: maximizing power generation and minimizing generation losses. It has established and fully implemented the "Evaluate‑Diagnose‑Treat" mechanism, steadily advancing all improvement tasks. To date, the dedicated "Evaluate‑Diagnose‑Treat" report has been completed. In addition, the project strictly implements the standardized safe production requirements. Leveraging the "Group Industrial Internet + Safe Production Environment" control model, the team continuously maintains the equipment in optimal generating condition, providing a solid foundation for the stable supply of clean energy in the region.
