Gao Ping Met with the Delegation Led by Yang Jianwu, Secretary of the Baiyin Municipal Committee of Gansu Province

In a recent development on January 12th, 2024, China Power's President and Executive Director, Gao Ping, hosted a high-profile meeting with Yang Jianwu, the Secretary of the Baiyin Municipal Committee of Gansu Province, along with his delegation at China Power's headquarters. After welcoming the visit of Yang Jianwu and his delegation, Gao Ping introduced the historical evolution, development process, and industrial development of China Power in Gansu. He also explained China Power's strategies in emerging industries such as energy storage, color solar cells, green power transportation, rural revitalization, green power conversion, and geothermal energy. He said that Baiyin City has obvious advantages in its location and in new energy resources, and hoped that both sides can further strengthen communication and cooperation, utilize China Power's advantages in emerging industries, connect the new energy industry and industry chain, innovate business models, and strive to build a number of operational, promotable, and replicable demonstration projects in Baiyin City.

Yang Jianwu expressed gratitude for the warm reception of China Power, appreciated the development plans and achievements of the company in implementing green and low-carbon transformation, and briefly introduced the situations in Baiyin City. He stated that in recent years, Baiyin City has seized the opportunity of the national strategy of "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality". It has always regarded the new energy as an advantageous characteristic industry and an important supporting industry in the comprehensive transformation and high-quality development of the city.
