China Power and Lianyungang Municipal People's Government Signed a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On January 9th, China Power signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with the Lianyungang Municipal Government. Zhang Jiajiong, Deputy Mayor of Lianyungang City, and Gao Ping, President and Executive Director of China Power, attended the signing ceremony and held talks.

Zhang Jiajiong expressed gratitude to China Power for its long-term concern and support for the economic development of Lianyungang, warmly congratulated on the signing, and introduced the basic situation and unique advantages of the city in terms of geographical location, industrial development, etc. He stated that as one of the first coastal open cities in China, Lianyungang has broad prospects and enormous potential for the future. Its industrial foundation for the development of new energy projects is excellent, and efforts are being made to develop and strengthen emerging industrial clusters such as new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, and intelligent computing, so as to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system here. He hoped that both parties can leverage their respective strengths, expand cooperation, jointly promote clean energy and modernization of energy governance, and achieve a win-win situation in the fields of environmental, economic, and social development.

During the ceremony, they also signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. This agreement is based on the principles of "equality and mutual benefits, long-term goals, and step-by-step promotions", and aims to establish comprehensive strategic cooperation in fields such as "new energy+", hydrogen energy industry, and "comprehensive smart energy+". The two sides will strengthen innovation in cooperation models and jointly promote the sustainable and healthy development of new energy projects.
