CPID Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China Renewable Resources

On September 15, 2023, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, met with Mr. Ge Shuyuan, Chairman of China Resource Reuse Co., Ltd. (China Resources) and his delegation at CPID headquarters, and both sides had in-depth exchanges on low carbon, innovation and integration development, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Mr. Xu Tiecheng, Deputy General Manager of China Resources, and Mr. Zhao Yonggang, Vice President of CPID, attended the meeting.

Mr. Gao welcomed Mr. Ge and his delegation, and introduced the development history and strategic layout of CPID, focusing on the achievements and advantages of CPID in clean energy and emerging green energy industries in recent years. Mr. Gao said that China Resources, as a leading enterprise in the field of recycling economy, has experience in solid (hazardous) waste disposal, new energy utilization and final disposal, and CPID is willing to make full use of its own advantages to deepen cooperation in the fields of integrated smart energy in parks, green electric transportation, PV module utilization, solar energy storage and flexible DC power transmission, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, rural revitalization, etc., so as to promote the high-quality development of both sides.

Mr. Ge appreciated CPID's achievements in practicing green and low-carbon transition and development, and said that China Resources has a perfect recycling network in China. Mr. Ge expressed that in 2023, in order to accelerate the strategic transformation and upgrading of the industry, China Renewable Resources has made great efforts to carry out vehicle dismantling and parts remanufacturing, EV battery recycling and utilization, wind turbine blade and PV module recycling and utilization, and rare earth magnet recycling and utilization. Mr. Ge hoped that both sides would make full use of their respective advantages, carry out pragmatic cooperation and steadily realize win-win cooperation.

After the meeting, Mr. Zhao and Mr. Xu signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Under the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual benefits, open cooperation and common development", both sides will further strengthen strategic dovetailing, expand the scope of cooperation and raise the level of cooperation in the fields of low carbon, innovation and integration and high-quality development.

The meeting was attended by the heads of relevant departments of China Resources, the heads of China Resources and Environment Co., Ltd., and the heads of the New Energy Department, Development Department, CPID Zhejiang Energy and Xinyuan Jingwu of CPID.
