Kazakhstan Electric Power Experts Visit China Power Energy Storage Development Limited
September 8-9, 2023, Mr. Almat Kabykenov, General Manager of Kazakhstan Renewable Energy Development Association, Mr. Borzhan Utvuliyev, General Manager of Technology R&D Department of Kazakhstan National Grid Company, and Mr. Genis Duysenov, General Manager of Development Department of Kazakhstan National Grid Company, visited China Power Energy Storage Development Limited. Mr. Wang Dongrong, Vice President of CPID, accompanied the delegation.
On September 8, the delegation visited the Hechuan 240 MW/480 MWh independent energy storage power station project in Chongqing supplied by China Power Energy Storage Development Limited. The equipment was first delivered to the site on June 10, 2023, and the project was connected to the grid and put into full-load operation on July 26, 2023, setting a new record for the speed delivery of energy storage equipment. The staff at the site gave a detailed introduction to the operation and dispatch mode of the energy storage power station, and the experts highly appreciated the advanced and mature integration program and the efficient equipment delivery.
On September 9, the delegation visited the exhibition hall and smart manufacturing production line, viewed the self-developed energy storage series products and major implemented project scenes, understood in detail the production process of DC equipment and the integration of energy storage batteries, and fully affirmed the advanced smart manufacturing capability of China Power Energy Storage Development Limited.
Subsequently, the experts visited the smart operation center, watched the real-time operation situation of the power station, and highly recognized the smart operation platform for unmanned operation, efficient early warning, and tariff and power prediction, etc. The experts expressed their willingness to further cooperate with China Power Energy Storage Development Limited in the field of energy storage, and sincerely hoped that the smart energy storage technology would provide safe, reliable and smart power solutions for the construction of Kazakhstan's electric power systems, and jointly push forward the development of smart energy storage.
