Pingwei Power Generation Company Donates Books to Children

Since June 2023, Pingwei Power Generation Company has responded positively to the initiative of donating books to children, and immediately mobilized the employees to carry out the book donation activity, giving warmth and blessing to the children in the poor mountainous areas, igniting ardent expectations to study hard and grow up.

In just 2 weeks, employees from more than 30 departments collected books suitable for young children from their own bookshelves. The books are about history, culture, literature, popular science knowledge, classical masterpieces and others, and are intellectual, scientific, artistic and healthy to promote young children's physical and mental development, and help children expand their horizons, increase knowledge and enlighten wisdom.

More than 1,000 books collected for this donation drive were sorted, packaged and sent to the counterpart county. This is also a good tradition of the company to donate books and materials to children in poor areas for many years. To help the poor as well as the wise, the company will continue to actively participate in the cause of rural revitalization, build a bridge to the world of knowledge for children in remote mountainous areas, pay back society and home with rich knowledge and love in the future, and make more contributions to society.
