China's Benchmark! Special Action for CPID Reform Wins Good Results

Recently, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) released the results of the 2022 annual special assessment of the "Double Hundred Enterprises" and "Scientific Reform Demonstration Enterprises" belonging to enterprises directly under the central government. CPID was once again rated as a benchmark enterprise in the "Double Hundred Enterprises", and China Power Energy Storage Development Limited was rated as a benchmark enterprise in the "Scientific Reform Demonstration Enterprises", and was rated as a benchmark in the first year of being selected as one of "Scientific Reform Demonstration Enterprises".

CPID has resolutely implemented the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on energy transition and state-owned enterprise reform, firmly grasped the key reform opportunity of being selected as one of the "Double Hundred Enterprises" and one of the "Scientific Reform Demonstration Enterprises", faced the painful and difficult issues, steadfastly deepened the reform in corporate governance, market-oriented mechanism and sci-tech innovation, achieved a successful conclusion of the "three-year action" of state-owned enterprise reform, and created a new situation of green and low-carbon energy transition of traditional thermal power enterprises.

CPID will further deepen the reform deployment, implement the requirements for state-owned enterprise reform and upgrading action, promote the actions, play the role of benchmark demonstration and leadership of the "Double Hundred Enterprises" and the "Scientific Reform Demonstration Enterprises", and make every effort to become a world-class green and low-carbon energy supplier.

It is reported that the SASAC included a total of 254 enterprises in the 2022 annual special assessment of the "Double Hundred Enterprises", with 79 enterprises as benchmarks and only 30 enterprises as the "Double Hundred Enterprises" benchmarks for two consecutive years; and a total of 274 enterprises as the "Scientific Reform Demonstration Enterprises", with 84 enterprises as benchmarks.
